Dreams at the End of Exile/2 Helena was returning to Buenos Aires, but didn't know what language to speak or what currency to use. Standing on the corner of Peyrredon and Las Hera, she waited for the number 60, which didn't arrive-which would never arrive.

I think the fact that Helena can't understand the language may signify that
she is having a hard time understanding someone in her waking hours. Because
she doesn't understand the currency, I think that she is also having a hard
time understanding something that is rather simple and common. Since
a bus may signify her mind's movement towards achieving
goals, the fact that she is waiting for the number 60 means she may have a temporary
set back to attaining those goals. Link back to Title Page: Dream Abrazo's |
